What is Blepharoptosis and Total Incision?
After making an incision along the upper eyelid line, the excess tendon membrane is removed from the sagging eyelid and stitched up to reduce the size of the incision by shortening it.
The effect is semi-permanent and can be used for severely droopy eyelids caused by blepharoptosis that cannot be treated with any implantation technique.
Compared to the implantation method, this procedure will introduce more stress on the affected area and in turn, requires a return visit to the hospital for suture removal.
